BRAYE THE BADGER
We visited Braye towards the end of our Lagos trip, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The visit felt like a gentle wrap up to a trip that had already been full of meaning.
In the time that we spent with him we captured the spirit of our journey; intimate, wholesome, and organic.
His home felt like an extension of his personality, very warm, grounded and quietly thoughtful. The studio blends seamlessly into his living space, and it doesn’t feel like a workplace more like a cocoon.
You could sense his curiosity in the range in his library through each book title reflecting a layer of how he thinks and creates.
He also played us some unreleased music, in that moment, it felt like we’ve fully been invited into his world and his process.
And that was the perfect ending to a trip that was all about connection and honesty.
